I have been a practicing massage therapist for 13 years and I have learned many ways to approach wellness holistically.  The word holistic is defined as “the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the physical symptoms of a disease”.  It is so important to remember that we are the sum of all our parts. We are truly a well-oiled machine when all these parts are functioning optimally. Good health and optimal wellness come from within as well.

Massage therapy provides an approach to healthcare that is truly holistic in nature. We begin to address not just the muscles, but the bones, the tendons, the ligaments as well as our internal systems – everything that binds us together and makes us whole.
